શ્રીવિશ્વકર્મા ભગવાન એ વિશાળ શિલ્પના નિર્માતા છે કે જેમને શાસ્ત્ર પ્રકૃતિના પાંચ મૂળ તત્વોનું સંયોજન કર્યું. પૃથ્વી,જળ,વાયુ,અગ્નિ,અને આકાશ.અને ખાસ કરીને તેમને આધ્યાત્મિક, શારીરિક સ્વાસ્થ્ય અને સમૃદ્ધિ માટે વાસ્તુ અને અવકાશી ઉર્જા સાથે સંતુલિત કર્યું.જેના એક હાથમાં કાંબી,બીજા હાથમાં શુત્ર ને ત્રીજામાં જળનું કમંડળ અને ચોથા હાથમાં પુસ્તક ધારણ કરેલુ, વળી જેને હંસનું વાહન છે, જેના મુસ્તક ઉપર મુકુટ ધારણ કરેલો છે, તથા ત્રણે લોક જેને સર્જેલા છે. તેમજ સર્વે પ્રકારનાં દેવઘરો,રાજ્ઘરો,અને સર્વે સામાન્ય લોકોના ઘરો જેણે રચેલા છે, એવા સર્વેજગતનું હીત કરતા વિશ્વકર્મા છે. તેમને હું નમન કરું છુ.
God shree Vishwakarma was the complier of vastu shilp Shastra is a combination of the five basic elements of nature. i.e. Earth (Prithvi), Water (Jal), Air (vayu), Fire (Agni) and Space(Akash). સુંદર દેવાલયો, ભવ્ય મહાલયો કોઈ પણ દેશના ગૌરવ અને શોભાને વધારનારા છે. સુંદર દેવમંદિરો, મહેલો, બાગબગીચાઓ, તળાવો, પ્રતોલ્યાઓ અને કીર્તિસ્તંભો કરાવવાએ નગરોના અલંકાર છે. તેને લીધે નગરોની શોભા વધે છે. અને પ્રાણીમાત્ર ને વિશ્રાંતિ મળે છે. એટલુજ નહિ પણ તેમાં ધાર્મિક પુરુષોના વિજય અને કીર્તિ સમાયેલી છે. માટે રાજા મહારાજાઓ અનેસદ્દગૃહસ્થોએ પોતાના નગરોમાં સુંદર દેવાલયો અને રાજપ્રસાદો નું સુંદર નિર્માણ કરાવે છે.અને તેનું નિર્માણ કાર્ય કુશળ અને શાસ્ત્ર વિશારદ શિલ્પીઓને હાથેકરાવે છે. આબુઉપરના જૈન દેરાસરો, ખાજુરાઓ ના મંદિરો, રાણકીવાવ, રાજ મહેલો વગેરે કલાત્મક કૃતિઓ જોઈ આજે પણ યાત્રીઓ મુગ્ધ બની જાય છે. જેથી આ ધાર્મિક પુરુષોનીઅમર કીર્તિ સુવર્ણ અક્ષરોએ ઇતિહાસમાં લખાયેલી છે. અને હજારો યાત્રીઓ દર વર્ષે યાત્રાએ જઈ તેમના નામને અમર બનાવે છે.બીજાઅનેક મહારાજાઓ અને શેઠ શાહુકારો થઈ ગયાતેઓ શક્તિસંપ્પનધનાઢ્ય હતા પરંતુ લોભવૃતિનાકારણે આવાં ધાર્મિક કર્યો કરી શક્યા નહિ. જેને લીધે તેમને આજે કોઈ યાદ પણ કરતું નથી. પરંતુ જેમ આવાં સુંદર કાર્ય ઉદાર દિલના ધાર્મિક પુરૂષોથીજ બની શકે છેતેમ તેવા કાર્ય માટે પણ તેવા કુશળવાન,ઉતમ અને શાસ્ત્રને જાણનાર શિલ્પીઓની જરૂર છે.બીજાઅનેક મહારાજાઓ અને શેઠ શાહુકારો થઈ ગયાતેઓ શક્તિસંપ્પનધનાઢ્ય હતા પરંતુ લોભવૃતિનાકારણે આવાં ધાર્મિક કર્યો કરી શક્યા નહિ.જેને લીધે તેમને આજે કોઈ યાદ પણ કરતું નથી. પરંતુ જેમ આવાં સુંદર કાર્ય ઉદાર દિલના ધાર્મિક પુરૂષોથીજ બની શકે છેતેમ તેવા કાર્ય માટે પણ તેવા કુશળવાન,ઉતમ અને શાસ્ત્રને જાણનાર શિલ્પીઓની જરૂર છે.
Beautiful Temples, palaces, orchards, lakes, bowls and statues are the ornaments of the towns. Due to this, the beauty of the towns is increasing. And the humans get rest. Not at all, it contains the triumphs and glory of religious men. For this reason the monarchs and saddhistas built beautiful Temples and palaces in their towns. And its made with expert sculptors for their construction work. Even today Aabu delvada jain temple,khajuraho temple, rankivav, Raj mahel etc, are really artistic works, travelers are fascinated by seeing this work. So that the immortal glory of these religious men is written in the history of the golden characters. And thousands of pilgrims go on a trip every year to make their name immortal. Many other Maharajahs and Seth Lords became Shakti Sampan was wealthy but could not perform such rituals because of greed. Due to which no one remembers them today. But just as beautiful things can happen to liberal-hearted religious men. Such work also requires skilled, up-to-date and sculptors who know the

“સ્થપતિ – મુખ્ય શિલ્પી-સુત્રધાર સ્થાપના રચના વિધિમાં સંપૂર્ણ યોગ્યતા ધરાવનાર, સર્વ શાસ્ત્રોને જાણનાર, સોમપુરા કુળમાં ઉત્પન થયેલ ગણિત શાસ્ત્ર ના વિદ્વાન, પુરાણોનો જ્ઞાતા, આનંદી સ્વભાવવાળા, લોભ વૃતિથી રહિત, ચિત્રકળાના વિજ્ઞાતા, સર્વ દેશોનું જ્ઞાન ધરાવનાર, સાચું બોલનાર, જિતેન્દ્રિય, નીરોગી, અપ્રમાદી, સપ્ત મહાવ્યસનોથી મુક્ત, સુંદર નામવાળા ઘણા બન્ધુવર્ગ વાળા અને વાસ્તુવિદ્યામાં પારંગત હોવા જોઈએ”.
